softplan schooling

Does anyone have experience with Softplan University?  I have been learning on my own for a few months on my own, but I know with even one day of an experienced user at my back I would be much more efficient.  I would almost like to see a discussion from an experienced user about their entire process, from how they approach initial designs, to their presentations and then to the working drawings.

Does anyone offer classroom training at all?

Thanks,

I have no experience with Softplan university.  However, I can confirm that a day of one on one training helped me tremendously.  Bill Wimberley (you may noticed his name on this site a few times) helped me for a very fair rate.  Using join.me, Bill remotely accessed my machine and guided me through a large part of a project.  I highly recommend sending him a private message to see if he has time to help.

Using the guide and training DVDs will only get you so far.  An experienced user can show you the practical purposes of the software.  I found that Softplan has a difficult learning curve, but it is worth it.  I cursed this software more times than I could count when I first bought it.  However, I am currently trying to draw an addition on an old project in Autocad and I am realizing how much more efficient I am with Softplan than I was/am with ACAD.

Good luck!
