Roof on Sloped Beam
SoftPlan Version:
2016

I am trying to connect a new home I am designing to an existing shed with a covered walkway.  There is a 9' elevation difference between the two buildings. Is there any way to achieve a roof on this sloped beam?

Sloped Roof

I'd go with something like this. It is all one roof. The sloped center section is set to a gable on both sides and the overhang is 1/8" greater on both sides than the overhangs on the upper and lower sections. The pitch on the center section is set to be the same as the pitch created by the angles of the beams. I just created an elevation drawing of the beams and measured the angles of the beams.

I was able to create that

I was able to create that roof too, thanks for sharing.  I was hoping to have the ridge line of the upper and lower roof connect, and the roof tostill be sloped towards the sides like the upper and lower.  Basically just tipping those other roofs at the angle of the beam.
