Opening end wall issues

I am trying to figure out how to show drywall on a end wall that stops from an uncased opening. I have tried setting the opening trim to 0" which resolves this but it's stuck as a white material in 3D. Am I missing something here? I think Softplan should know it's an end wall and show the drywall...

That is a problem that I have spent quite a bit of time trying to solve. What is happening is that the drywall on the inside of the opening and the wall drywall are taking up the same space. Your video card doesn't know which one to display so it displays both. The same thing happens in Sketchup and other 3D programs when you have 2 planes occupying the same space.

The only work-around I have found that gives pretty good results is to edit the wall definition and make your drywall very thin, say .01". So if you edit an interior 2x4 wall and set both the outside and inside drywall to .01" and then adjust the Horizontal Start for the inside drywall to be the total thickness of the wall minus .01" you can pretty much get rid of the overlapping materials for 3D. Not a perfect solution but it helps get rid of the overlap for 3D.

I actually found that turning

I actually found that turning your casing on for the opening and setting the casing to custom and then making the trim 0" makes a nice border around the opening. Then just change the colour definition in 3D to the wall colour and it will show as drywalled.

That works but it breaks your baseboard and prevents it from covering the inside edge of the opening.
