FLATTING PEAK OF CATHEDRAL CEILING
SoftPlan Version:
2016 Plus

Is there an automatic way to draw the ceiling shown below without having to draw it in three pieces or make line adjustments

to the Section Drwgs ? I see options for Double Hips, Dutch Gables, Hips, Gables etc. but nothing to get this profile.

Double Hip

That would be a double hip. Make one side a hip. The other side a double hip. Set the Top Pitch to Horizontal Top Pitch. Set the Distance to the distance from the inside of the wall to the start of the flat at the top, measured horizontally.

Flatted Ceiling

Ahhh, there I go again not thinking outside of the box.

Being such a traditionalist I automatically think if one side is a

double hip then the other side has to be a double hip etc.

Never considered what would happen using two different

configurations on opposite sides of the roof !!!!

Thanks Bill !
