Diffence between wall material "none" and "spare"

Interesting fact I was exposed to for wall definitions. Apparantly material "none" does not make the wall asymetrical but does makes it have an inside/outside, however material "spare" will make the wall truely asymetrical (also with an inside/outside) the difference between the 2 walls is that a stand alone symetrical wall will wrap at the end (display drywall on the end) and a stand alone asymetrical one will not. this came up for me with a 8" concrete wall with 2x4 ladder sill cast in top. The ladder extended past the concrete with none in def. and did not with spare. I'm sure Bill may have more to add to this.

To clarify: I added none to the outside of some symetrical walls if i wanted the ability to flip the wall for dimensioning either side.
