Deleting Saved Custom Cabinet Layouts
SoftPlan Version:
2014

Hi,

Just reaching out for some help.

I’ve working with cabinets; specifically creating new layouts and saving them for future use.

However, I created a few that I now wish to delete. I’ve searched the Softplan file structure through File Explorer to find these layouts but without any luck. I’ve also tried going to delete these items through the drawing library again no luck.

Anyone have any thoughts how I can delete custom layouts?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks
Peter

Cabinets

Cabinets, cabinet faces, symbols, and things of that nature are saved in libraries. To access the libraries select File⇒System Options⇒System Library. In the Configure Library dialog select the type of item you want then select the appropriate library. Select the item you wish to delete and then select Remove Symbol.

Thanks Bill,

Thanks Bill,

The cabinet is currently in my Drawing Library. When I go to remove it using the remove symbol function the option is shaded out and not available to use?? I’ve provided an image.

Cheers, Peter.

Drawing Library

Removing a cabinet face layout from the Drawing Library is as simple as deleting all cabinets that use that layout from the drawing. Then when you close and reopen the project it will be gone. As long as there is a cabinet in your drawing that uses the layout the layout will remain in the Drawing Library.
