How do I add my logo and Company info to Plan Set?

Logo

You need to add it to the Border drawing you want to use. Make sure and save that border drawing to a name of your choosing first.

Importing LOGO to SoftPLan from PNG File

Ok I have figured out how to make a new Plan Set page, but how do I add my Logo from my computer file in a PNG format to soft Plan and how do I add other (Non-Soft Plan) wanted information to the title box. The ones they offer are a standard but I'd like to add more info than that.

Jason,

Pick one of the borders that Softplan provides that most closeley resembles what you want and open it. Save it as whatever name you want. Then go about changing it, adding or deleting info, etc., to your hearts delight. IMPORT your PNG logo and place it where you want. Resize accordingly. Creating your border really is just creating a new .spd.

Information Stamps

SoftPlan has various Information Stamps that can be placed on the border. These Information Stamps will automatically be replaced with information contained within the project. For instance you can fill out the Project Information by selecting Model tab-->Project Information. Fill in the Address and other information you wish placed on the border.

Unfortunately SoftPlan does not currently allow you to create custom information stamps. For instance you can not create information stamps for items such as Lot number, Block number, or County. But you can use the existing stamps for that purpose. You might use the Phone, Fax and Mobile stamps for Lot, Block, and County.

I use information stamps extensively on my borders. I resisted them for a long time because you can not make custom stamps. But with 2014+ I am sharing projects with 2 other people I work with and it was becoming problematic keeping the borders straightened out when using plan sets. So I finally gave in and started using them as described above by reusing information stamps that were not already being used. Hopefully the next version will allow for creating custom information stamps.
